In late November, 2002 commisioner of the Defectors Fantasy baseball league, Ohio Hounddogs announced that the Alabama Abluevetalas would be an replacement team for 2003.  Team owner Alexander J. LaPiana is very excited about the oppurtunity to compete in a league of such stature.  The Abluevetalas are a member of the South Division, and are accompanied by the Seattle Shupurrs, Guantanamo Boys, and Missouri Miracle.

ABLUEVETALAS ARE SOUTH DIVISION CHAMPIONS!!

In a thrilling pennant race, the Alabama Abluevetalas showed their true skin as they came through in the clutch, and won the 2 game playoff against the Missouri Miracle.  The Abluevetalas had held a slim lead down the stretch, but gave it away and trailed by one game on the final day of the season.  They swept their double-header while Miracle split theirs.  This caused a 2 team tie for the South Division lead, and a playoff game was held over 2 days.  The Abluevetalas shot out to a 54-9 lead the first day and never looked back, with the final score 99-55.  Team owner Alexander J. LaPiana announced in his press conference that "The team came through in the clutch and I am very proud of them.  I'd like to thank everyone in the organization, and all of our fans.  Ohh ya!  Go Abluevetalas!
